Announcement: By God's grace, we've made it to our third trimester! YAY!
Baby girl is now 14.5 inches in length and weighs about 2 pounds with lots of room to grow over the next 13 weeks. Her eyelids have separated so she can tell the difference between light and dark from her "womb with a view". From everything I've read, babies born at her age can survive (with intensive care) out in the big world. There is something really comforting about this fact and makes entering this stage something of a milestone in the pregnancy.
