A Poem

Life with Chickens - An Original Poem

Oh, a life with chickens
Their buns so full of fluff,
They never fear a critic
For hens, tis trivial stuff.

They graze in the grass
Their glutes high in the air,
Pecking keeps them busy
From cameras, unaware.

Snip-snap, pictures are taken
Of fluff so glossy and sleek,
Photographer must be quick
Lest they see and free a squeak.

Oh, a life with chickens
Laying eggs beautiful and fine,
They run about and make me laugh
I'm glad these hens are mine.
